About Me

Currently working from home...I was raised under the Seattle rain,   I miss the Sonics, and love a good bowl of clam chowder.

I started out with a degree in Industrial Design, but realized midway through that I couldn't help but explore the digital side of design too. This led me to User Experience. More and more I find these 2D and 3D worlds are colliding within the design field, and with my background, I hope to find myself at the intersection of both.

I have always loved the junction of design and technology, and can't help but sink my teeth into the latest tech release or design craze.  I hope to create products and experiences that people never knew they needed, but become inherently familiar. Design and keen observation have been my outlet to do just that.

My Approach

Design for me is a perspective, that every day I understand more and more how to incorporate into my life. The world is filled with design, both good and bad. It’s our job to learn from observation and develop a way of thinking that is critical, but also constructive, always asking how can something be improved.

I'm always taking mental notes that could come in handy somewhere down the road. Whether it be new concepts or innovative technology, I love leveraging the new and noteworthy into my designs.
